Lately...

I've been feeling a bit alone. It's nothing new, I've always been an independent, and I sorta prefer being detached from everything and doing things myself, but school hasn't been working out. Falling asleep in class--got a C in frigging marketing, what the fuck is that? and failed a class... I really don't think I can pull it out, but I can try.... my faith

There's also what's coming up. The rotary exchange application is in, I just have to fix a few things, so... I'll be gone in less than a year. When I come home most of the people I've made friends with here are going to be going to college.

I doubt I'll see a lot of them after this year... who should I even keep in contact with?

Some of them are irreplaceable too--I wonder why we weren't closer before, after a while I've just gotten attached. Cara, Shaylee, Hannah, Angie... who else? God I have so few friends, and leaving I'll have less... how the hell am I supposed to keep up with them? I didn't have... friend friends until middle school, and I never stay attached to one very long... Well, Angie's stuck since I was a Freshman, and I'm sure she knows our relationship, aha

I'll get over it, grated, but... that won't be until the plays start again--and forensics. Maybe that's what's up. I haven't given any speeches in classes... out of class... Forensics kept me busy.... helping out with swimming too.

Hmh, I've no idea what's going to become of my role playing. Guys, if I idle out for some reason... just make sure I come back.

Uhm.... spose I should say a little something intersting: my application for the foreign exchange is due on the 15th, so i have a little time but like.... at the same time, i have none at all. Fucking plays are kicking my ass. I changed the arrangement to Japan, Germany, THEN India. Buddy o' mine convinced me to swap them around.

I had... an interesting experience today. Sorta... gave me a little faith, so to speak.

It was homecoming this week, and you know how it goes--dress up days, giant party float, pep assembly, students talking about getting to wear the jersey of that one hawt foreign exchange student, blah blah blah...

Our pep assembly does this thing called mock rock each homecoming. Essentially, you play a song, lip sing to it, and dance along with it. Well, this year the Juniors were the only class to actually preform one--it was okay, I wish the seniors weren't booing so much, I couldn't here the music at all! ;;'



This is the cool part:

After our "mock rock", suddenly on the audio system "Just a small town girl! Livin' in a lonely world~" and, next thing I knew, the whole senior class came running down from the bleachers and gathered in a little circle, dancing and screaming along with "Don't Stop Believing". But... the teachers turned it off promptly. They tried to get it started again, but they wouldn't let them--it was a bit upsetting, I'm not going to lie.

Then I started hearing the song again... "DON'T STOP, BELIEVING!!" from the top of the bleachers to find a number of the junior class standing up screaming the song at the top of their lungs. Soon the whole junior class was roaring with the classic hit, and the seniors joined in with the yelling; dancing, and lifting Blake into a crowd surf.



I don't know. For me, when people join together like that... it gives me a little hope.

._. damn I love this song--And alanis morissette; She's god No seriously, if you've seen Dogma you'd get it

Now to add the stuff that this journal has only been good for for like... three four years? Good lord. HELP ME PIMP THESE OUT, g'lord I lost all my comms so idfk where to kick half this shit.
